The school academically is the best I won't lie there but sometimes teachers assume because you are at Worcester Gimnasium you are suppose to know everything and they always compare you to the smartest kids in your grade, but not everyone is the same.
There is an underlying racism in the school where they only seem to cater to the white culture and only cater the black and coloured culture only when it suits them.
I had no good experience at this school. The teachers are rude and have no respect for learners, they feel entitled to get involved in personal family matters. They don't care about students mental health and litterally strive to try and make everything as difficult as possible. Horrible place to send your kids, take my advice and stray very far from this business (notice how I didn't say school).
My experience at Worcester Gymnasium was amazing. The teachers were sweet and welling to help with anything. And there are many fun activities which accommodates every type of learn be it a sport learn or drama learn everything is there. I definitely recommend my school. I only start at Worcester in 2019 in term 2 and everyone welcomed me and made me feel at home this year is my last year but Worster Gymnasium has definitely made my years of high school remarkable 😊. We are experiencing a desease called Covid-19 but they educators still make sure we get the best education possible in for us as matriculants of 2020.
Science and maths are intentially made more difficult. Teachers feel entitled to your personal information and if you are english you are given less opportunities than the afrikaans children. The school is also fairly racist and anti-lgbt. The hostel is worse than the school
