I have two girls at this school and we've been part of this community for six years. It has been an amazing experience for us. Amazing teachers in every grade who are supportive and carr for each child individually. I love the focus on the holistic development of the child to ensure a well rounded young lady. My girls are thriving! I also love that the school is founded on very strong values.
A parent...I can't even begin to describe how awful this school is..rascist.....very rascist..if you are white you are made to feel terrible for being born white..terrible teachers..awful communication..just the worst school ever..
School was a safe haven for me. I was accepted and valued at the school. I was guided through difficult parts of my life by loving and caring staff. I wouldn’t change my high school experience for anything.
Ground staff and security are always friendly and helpful. There is a range of wonderful after school activities including sports which are compulsory because yes academics is important but so is the health of students.
Such a terrible school to be in.
So much bullying, no support from teachers or staff. Education is standard but nothing special. There’s a lot of xenophobia and racism in the boarding house especially.
I don’t know of any girl who has graduated from St Mary’s DSG that hasn’t had: an eating disorder, self harmed, attempted suicide, been severely depressed or struggled/s with anxiety.
please don’t send your daughter(s) here, she/they will never be the same again!
