Past Student here, the teachers are very rude, especially the one. The Male bathroom is just one bathroom that has been split in half with the female bathroom and not even having a mirror. The staff smokes A LOT, even in front of the students. The classrooms need a serious renovations. A ton of building code violations here. Broken windows so learners can cut themselves on. I strongly suggest that you think twice before putting your child into this facility. They claim to be a nurturing environment but they leave autistic kids to just have a panic attack on the floor. If there was an option to leave negative stars I would do that.

St Barnabas: Success through Encouragement.
I am the former principal of St Barnabas and feel compelled to comment, especially in view of the fact that the only comment here is probably from someone who was excluded from the school and therefore has a grudge.
The school will be having its 25th anniversary next year and they are still doing a great job. Fantastic staff who are kind but also firm when necessary, following consistently a very fair code of conduct to ensure others are treated with respect and decency and that good standards are maintained.
I have seen so many students, who had lost hope in themselves and the education system, regain confidence and a desire to learn.
The school has also maintained a consistent 100% matric pass for many years while working with learner of varying abilities, even those some other schools have written off.
I am so proud of the students and staff of St Barnabas. May St Barnabas continue to be a beacon of hope, encouragement and kindness.
