Sharonlea needs to get their affairs in order. Teachers are absent for long stretches leaving kids in other teachers classrooms. What are the kids learning in that week? Is it not a service being provided and parents are paying for? The communication is absolutely terrible, what’s the point of a what’s app line if messages aren’t acknowledged? And teacher to parent communication??? Don’t even get me started. The only time they wanna see you is if it’s a serious conversation or if they want money for events that 1stly cost waaaay too much for what they’re offering and too little time per grade. My kid stays home on event days because even something as simple as civvies is a money making scheme. And also always scheduled in the middle of the month when parents are broke? Also can we talk about security? I’ve been told directly by the school that their teachers are fighting for less hours and more pay? If a child is dropped off before the gates open and something no happens it’s not their responsibility, and the same applies to after school? Seriously??? What about the safety of our kids? With everything going on in SA at the moment with child trafficking and abuse of children? What are their protocols? Nothing??? Sharonlea is not the one.
Teachers are very rude and speak harsh to kids. The teachers hurt the kids feelings, not thinking that they are not adults and can't handle there feelings. Also one of the teachers told my kids to go sit outside the classroom on the floor in the cold. This is not acceptable. The principal needs to speak to the teachers about how to speak to kids.
Exceptional Education and Dedication at Sharonlea Primary School
Sharonlea Primary School is an excellent institution with dedicated teachers who are genuinely committed to the growth and success of the children in their care. My children are thriving academically and socially, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of education they are receiving.
