Scottburgh High School - 2017

Scottburgh High School was the worst experience of my life. Aside from the bullying you receive from children, you also get bullied immensely by teachers who form cliques alongside the children and other staff members and gang up on you. I didn’t receive good education and was almost begging the teachers to teach. My math teacher was almost never in the class and it was never about education but more about control over pupils lives. They worry more about how your hair/nails/earrings etc. looks than your education. It is a very sad situation and I couldn’t bear it for very long

If you didn't start schooling there from Grade 8- don't bother. The teachers and kids have strong cliques and that can make you feel like an outcast. I wouldn't recommend- my time there was a terrible one filled with emense bullying from both students and teachers.

Scottburgh High School had always been my dream school since I was in grade 4. So it made perfect sense that I attend it when it was finally time to go to high school. Not only does the school help to grow a child academically but also spiritually. Every Monday and Friday there is an assembly and we all gather and pray. I can happily say Scottburgh High School has become my second home. The school has 27 cameras to ensure that the pupils are on their best behaviour. The school has always achieved an astonishing matric pass rate. Recently in 2018 it obtained a 100% matric pass rate.
