Good opportunities, lack luster support staff
I was a student at Rhenish from 2005-2009. During that time I experienced great friendships, fun sport and a few outstanding teachers. The under qualified, young duty teachers at the hostel were horrendously unprepared to care for developing young women, and two of the department heads used threats and intimidation to keep the girls who needed the most help in line. I was a termly boarder and received no support whatsoever from the Rhenish staff. I missed my parents terribly and still managed to get top marks and achieve in sport whilst being neglected and at times bullied by people whose care I was supposed to be under. I don’t regret being a student there because the opportunities to grow were definitely available. But without very present parents your child is in danger of falling through the cracks. I still shudder when I think of some of the things I had to go through as a young girl under their care.
BEST CHOICE I EVER MADE
Rhenish has given me many opportunities and everybody there is just so amazing! At Rhenish, there is a place for everyone. Rhenish is a family and a place where you’ll always feel at home.
rhenish is amazing but in order to enjoy the experience you need a great group of friends. hostel is so so so fun and exciting but again, good friends make it so much better.

I wish I could put into words how it feels to be waking into RGHS wearing the badge. I have so much pride for my school and I'm grateful to be a rhenisher. There's never a day I don't look out of my dorm at hostel with a huge smile on my face knowing that this is my high school. The sport is impeccable and the teams bond so well. There is such a sense of community and sisterhood. As soon as you step onto the grounds, you feel at home.
Worst experience
Horrible wouldn’t recommend at all. Only care about the top and wealthy students everyone else simply doesn’t matter
A good experience
Rhenish is an environment that encourages growth. Being surrounded by such strong woman and diversity every day is a blessing. The school is filled with culture, acceptance, spirit and positivity. Not to mention, the school ground is absolotely magical and filled with the most beautiful trees.
My high school experience at RGHS
I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience at Rhenish Girls High School. In the four years that I have attended the school, it has molded me into a compassionate, persevering and confident individual. Our teachers are dedicated to help every student and make the classroom an interesting environment where we can learn in an active manner.They have a vision, high expectations and the ability to help us on our path to success. The staff and pupils work together to make the school grounds a place where people of different ethnicities, religions and economic background feel accepted and supported.
Our school also has an overwhelming spirit of sisterhood. My fellow classmates motivate me to improve myself and give me hope for the future of our country.There is a warm and safe atmosphere to the school.
The school is involved with many community projects such as feeding programs and community creches to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in our town.
I am extremely proud to call myself a student at Rhenish Girls' High School,and I am excited to go to school every day.

I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience at my high school. Rhenish Girls' High School has molded me into becoming a more confident, persevering and compassionate member of society. Our teachers are incredibly helpful and dedicated at assisting every student in their highschool journey. We are actively involved in the classroom with a variety of opportunities. Rhenish takes great efforts to make pupils of many different ethnicities, religions and economic backgrounds feel safe and accepted, and has an incredible support system in place for struggling learners. All the staff work very hard to make sure that everyone here has a positive experience.
My school also has an inspiring sense of sisterhood that extends past our differences. I wake up wanting to go to school, and seeing my classmates everyday gives me hope for our future society.
