Right, the school has a good staff of teachers, teaching learners but I'm not going to mention names the one office lady is very rude to learners my child went to the office and asked the teacher "Do you guys have pain killers I have swollen gums" okay fair enough the word "guys" doesn't sound formal but don't be rude and shout at a child instead you can say " sorry dear but using guys isn't appropriate for places like here" in a more loving voice instead of a rude voice... And secondly why do you have to question children's leave and if they sick the same excuse comes out of her mouth "if you sick why didn't you stay at home" okay and what if the child got sick in school what your reason?...a child should have a grant to take leave at any time as it's there reason and y'all don't allow cellphones others they could phone us personally so please don't act smart...but as for that office women learn more respect of talking to a Learner and speak to them with respect cos they not your child and if you not happy with your job leave instead of making everyone else's life miserable
I do not reccomend this school, the choices in educational options are limited and you'll do better option wise going to another school, the results are steadily dropping in the matric pass results and they're coasting off of reputation, the experience isn't fun with lack of activities and sport and the school isn't even trying to change that, your childs happiness effects their progress academically, they're choices can be hindered by teachers and if you're in the "wrong" Type of course your progress academically is almost neglected and you're treated differently from an "A class" courses, so... Maybe look for another school, Raisethorpe didn't even offer IT, honestly if you can move to a different city, and their hair code of conduct is dumb to be honest, they stereotype you real quick
