Pretoria secondary school

A living hell

I would give this facility a 0 rating if possible. The school is generally a place of havoc not meeting the requirements of a proper and professional learning environment
Yet implements a rather unstable and difficult one.No child would possibly be motivated to do anything in this schools at all, in fact it would probably have the opposite effect honestly. The RCL’s are expected to on majority of the teachers duties and responsibilities(most likely register teachers) to the point where I can even classify them as actual teachers.1-2 periods of lessons are missed at least every school day due to absence of teachers whilst being present in the school itself though.Learners are often robbed and graded incorrectly and complaints reached to the school about this matter are not interpreted seriously.Rules are implemented unfairly and learners take part in horrendous activities, not receiving proper punishment measurably and accordingly.
Please consider your decision as a parent enrolling your child here and as a student allowing to be enrolled there

How bad is the school

Learners bring weapons and fight after school, killing each other. The reason why I am writing this review it because this school is not good cause of fighting, disrespect of teachers and banking school. So would you please try and change Delices Bafoku from PSS to langenhoven

Pretoria secondary school review

The school lacks material and resources, we literally spent half the year not having an Ems and Social sciences teacher and they kept on promising to find one. The teachers dont focus on the learners who actually need help. The classes dont have labels and there is not someone who could help you find your assigned class. The classrooms are also dirty and smell stuffy

It's pretty meh

The schooll is clearly government funded which is why it has little resources and funding and has to work with little space. The overpopulation is due to the system the system valueing grades instead of actually, in the system, schools with more learners are to get more funding which is why it welcomes any learner with potential to disrupt their fellow peers and even damage the school's reputation, this how ever doesn't excuse it's poor performance with their underpaid and overworked teachers with little training on how to deal with overcrowded classrooms and which would often make them result to violence in both physical and verbal, which is then directed at all the learners with high expectations in ridiculous dresscodes rules (i was almost reported for fucking wearing black socks) and even perfection in academic performance (all y'all teachers be giving me homework and expecting me to finish it all) instead of helping build life important skills overall it is meh

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!

I only went to this school because it was the last resort. This school made me depressed. There are no extra curricular activities, no sports and cultural activities.

There is no discipline. Some children even smoke weed in the toilets or outside, right in front of teachers and nothing is done.

The classrooms are small and overpopulated. The bathrooms are disgusting. Do not go to that school if you don’t want to fail or depress your child.

Strict teachers, some of them do not even teach

Well this school is very strict in everything. The H.O.D is the strictest he suspend you with immediate effect if you do something wrong three times. If you didn't do your work if his busy then you have to come again next next or you'll be lucky if your his one of favourites. And also another thing some of the teachers do not really teach and some of them are forever absent if I fail this year it's because of the maths teacher I wouldn't say which.

My school

My school is education wise quite good .....even though there's not extra curricular activites and so forth

Pretoria secondary school is a good school education wise only if one has a back back bone and knows what he/she is there to achieve or obtain.

Its a good school besides the lack of resource to make the school a better environment its actually a very good schoolcomparing it to many other government schools in the CBD

My school

Well
My school is a good school education wise only if one has a backbone and actually know why they going to school because gheres alot happening around the school environment and inside the school promises itself

Pretoria secondary school is a government school so we can't compare it to privage school because they obviously not on the same page the one is more advances than the other and comparing pretoria secondary to other government aroumd the CBD its doing quite well

Besides the lack of resources its a very good school
