Not a good environment
My experience of the school was not good. The school grounds look old and dirty. The principal also shouted at her staff in public - I do not think this environment is good for kids. Teachers looked stressed and not dressed professionally.
Education
Wouldn't go back if they paid me
Was told that crying would be used by my peers as emotional blackmail. Told that sitting next to friends during covid would kill all our families. Teacher said sies man to me once went home and had a panic attack.
I feel sorry for all teachers that are trying to keep the school from falling into shambles.
Overpriced for a school that looks like it hasn't been updated since the year they began. Tuckshop is unedible and tastes like plastic would rather throw my R10 away then spend it there. If I could give it a negative I would.
Glad I moved to America and got away.

Pretoria Chinese School
PCS is really amazing! The teachers work very hard and students love it here.

Mandarin is part of the school languages and is taught from Grade 00 to 12.
The school always serves nutritional meals that are freshly prepared on the premises.
Furthermore, they have amazing teachers that always go out of their way to assist the students and they incorporate technology in all aspects of teaching.
Their new swimming pool is on olympics standard and the students love it!

Pcs is diverse, cultural and a high achieving school. They challenge the kids and always use fair practice.

Pcs is worth every cent. I love the fact that it is so cultural and diverse and my child learns everyday. He comes home happy and can't wait to go to school in the morning. I would recommend Pcs to any parent
