I had the pleasure of meeting the school principal and was impressed by her remarkable dedication to humanitarianism. With 42 years of experience in the education sector and 41 years at Parkfields Primary, she has spent the last nine years serving as the principal.
Under the leadership of the school, bold and risky steps have been taken to uplift the underprivileged community they serve. Although the school is listed as a zero fees school, innovative partnerships with community clubs have resulted in an 18% increase in the number of learners who are keen to join their newly formed rugby and academic program.
