Don't talk down on prospective scholars

They don't know how to deal with prospective scholars and parents

Best public high school in CPT

Five years of great education. Public schooling just does not get better than what Milnerton offers. Fantastic educators ready to help, great facilities, clean grounds, ever-renewing structures and friendly management. So many leadership opportunities, societies, sports and whatever else. Do not believe the woke who claim the school does not deal with challenges head-on - it does, big time, more than most others, but it does so in a professional manner aimed at protecting all stakeholders involved.

It doesn’t get much better than this

Truly diverse, welcoming all and having a space for everyone!
Sports are main focus, academics very valued.
If not interested in either, so many other options for societies and cultural activities that can be chosen - not true when someone says there are no options.
Definitely beat value for money school out there!

Bullying issues

Dealt with bullying in the school. Although everyone says it doesn’t happen it very clearly does. The school cares only about their reputation. If you’re not extremely sporty or academic you fall in between the cracks. Lots of pressure put D class the “smart class” and I used to be in F class for my maths which was low at the point and some of the teachers said we’re getting no where and that we were stupid.

Not great

I had a tough situation and approached the administration for help. They did not act as they were supposed to, and instead tried to cover it up. While some of the teachers there are very good, the school itself has major issues with accountability and valuing its reputation over its students.

Go Millies!

Love this school so much! There might be stuff on the media suggesting otherwise but Milnerton High has no bullying issues and you can call nearly anyone your friend. There are RCLs appointed per grade that are always willing to help and the teachers know what they're doing and keep everything in order. This school was always my family's first choice after all my 3 elder siblings attended. I can't suggest it more!!! Go Millies!!

Not the best

Not too great with handling tough situations. Their name means more than the students in their school...

Lacks accountability

Did not address the major issues faced within the school such as racism, gender-based violence and favouritism amongst extra-curricular activities.
