One expects for the tuition fee of R6480 per month you will be paying that your child will get a top notch education and attention and that only the most experienced teachers will be employed. Unfortunately not. Classes go up to 23 kids (i.e. it is unlikely your child will receive 5 minutes of individual attention). Other schools in the area don’t allow more than 18 in a class. They also employ just about any educator regardless of previous (or any experience) or qualification. Some will only receive their degree later this year with no past experience. Your child is their guinea pig in order for them to get experience - if anyone is able to handle 23 kids it will definitely need to be someone with extensive experience. The assistant "teachers" no matter the amount of lipstick MRPP wants to put on it - is not a teacher at all and definitely don’t believe in treating the kids with love. MRPP gives great presentations on the psychology of what they do etc. but in our experience it is just hallow lip service. During the open day they describe in grave detail that each individual child is special and will be treated with gentleness and respect. But once you’ve handed over your child and the money they treat them very poorly and not with respect or love at all. This was our experience with one age group only, but we feel strongly that other parents know what to expect. They have impressive facilities and in our experience the principal employed is great but unfortunately she is not the one interacting with your child all day.
