Bullying is just a small part of the problem at this school. The teachers are entitled, rude and disrespectful. Spiteful to the core. They treat the scholars abominably.
Lynnwood Ridge Primary School has been an exceptional foundation for my children’s education. Two of my children are proud alumni of this school, and they went on to be admitted to prestigious high schools and universities on merit, thanks to the strong academic groundwork laid here. My third child is still attending Lynnwood Ridge, where the attentive and caring teachers go above and beyond to ensure each child reaches their potential. The staff are dedicated to high academic standards and deeply committed to adhering to the South African Schools Act and SGB rules, which they follow meticulously. This ensures that issues like tuition and bullying are handled with transparency and fairness. LRPS does not only deliver exceptional education, but it does so at a fraction of the cost compared to private schools.
Parents mustn't be swayed by political narratives that might try to undermine the school’s reputation. Lynnwood Ridge remains the preferred school for many parents in Pretoria East, and its excellence in education speaks for itself. The school even attracts students from private institutions due to its proven track record of quality teaching and student care. As a parent with firsthand experience, I can confidently say that Lynnwood Ridge Primary School continues to uphold the values of educational excellence and care for its learners.
This school is rife with bullying, not only from students but teachers as well. The staff don't care about the children at all. Teachers do not communicate well with parents at all. Office staff are horrendous people that honestly should not be working with people let alone children. It was even relayed to me by a social worker to avoid this school at all costs, remove your kids if they are in this school. The school is filled with pornography (the school knows there is a massive porn problem and have done nothing to fix it) Please, I know schools are really full these days, but look for alternatives. This school is not where you want your children to be educated.
Well Lynnwood is a great school don't get me wrong but some of the teachers have made alot of learners uncomfortable like Mr..... grade 5 teacher would physically throw them out his classes and throw them books outside and hold them by their jerseys and throw them out to sit outside I do admit some ppl were rude but that gives him no right to physically harm them and also he would always accuse ppl he did not like even wen they tried to be well behaved he would let other ppl that he thought were good off without a punishment or getting demerits even wen they were wrong and the Afrikaans teacher in the 5th grade also was not very nice she would get really angry when children ate in class but every other day she would eat in class which they found un fair she also tells the learners inappropriate jokes and has used alot of vulgar words in class as well as provoke learners for instance there was a boy who I personally know who has really bad anger issues asked the teacher to stop before he got really angry and had an outrage episode but she carried on making fun of him then when he finally popped she was surprised and acted like she didn't do anything and he got in alot of trouble but she didnt I am pleased to know that you have installed cameras into the school and will keep the learnere safe and when they ask for help please help them
