Laerskool Tuinplaas

I'm Lebo, I rate Laerskool Tuinplaas as one of the best afrikaans Home language school. I have a son who is in the last grade and attended from grade 1, he was the only black learner for 5 years, until he was joined by other fellow black learners in the year 2023, he has grown to be a smart, humble, loving and caring son through out these years. He participated in sports and represented the school year in and out. The staff is supportive and parents at large, he met friends at school and we became family friends too. He was elected as the 1st black Head Boy in 2024, He plays that role.
I still recommend Laerskool Tuinplaas to any parent who want to take their kids there.

One of the worst schools to take a black child to. I attended there for 8 years up until 2010. I was the first black learner there. I was not perfect but I developed alot of anger due to being enrolled at this school. There is a high level of racism that is not diplayed outside but once you are within your child will be treated in so many dangerously bad ways. So I plead if you are black or brown don't enroll your child in this school.
