Laerskool Orion

Hierdie skool sal baie beter af wees sonder die onderwyser James Hart.
Ouers behoort te weet hoe hy al gedaag was in hofsake oor kinders wat afgeknou en geboelie was deur hom.
Daar is menige gevalle waar hy ingemeng het by verkiesings tot provinsiale spanne op sportgebied en selfs ook die skool se leerlingraad gebied en dan die uitslae verander het soos dit hom pas. (Of soos ouers vir hom 'gunsies' aagebied het)
Sy eie kinders se geboortedatum is ook vervals - hulle is op die 30e Des gebore en hy het hulle eers gaan registreer in Januarie die volgende jaar. Natuurlik vir hulle 'n jaar se voordeel bo ander kinders gegee.

My daughters has been with Orionland, and now in grade 1 in Orion. Amory had the best teacher ever who left the school. The new teacher was not introduced to us properly when the old teacher left. My Daughter told me she loves to shout at the kids. Shouting all day. The previous teacher did not. It already a big adjustment for a child to adapt to a new person, but then to get a new teacher who is just screaming all day, does not help at all and makes me question if she has a passion for teaching and kids, as they go together. Then the teacher threatens the kids that she will fasten their feet to the chair if they don't listen and has done so to one of the students. It has been reported and was addressed. This teacher also does not like to listen to messages or responds. This teacher also is not allowing any children to go to the bathroom when their bladder need to, they have to try and keep it in until break time, which I mean for a little 6 year old it a struggle. What if they wet their pants.

This new teacher is not suitable for grade 1 kids in my opinion

I do not think that your child would be happy in this school. Just trust me, I was one of those many kids.

My kids have been with Orion since 2018. Starting in Grade RRR and R. My son is now in Grade R and my daughter in Grade 2. Since day one they have made us feel like family and our kids like their own. They have an awesome security guard there who literally knows each child by name! He always notices if one of them is not there for the day. Some of the teachers have been there since is went to school there and they absolutely love my kids and also everyone else. Nothing is ever to much for them and they are always willing to go the extra mile. Now witg lockdown they are sending more than their share of work and check in on the kids daily. They have pride in their school and we can see where the school fees are going. Straight back into the school! We are always aware of what is happening at school I know 💯 that my kids are always safe, cared for and loved. They are just a 1 in a million school!
