The school left a lot to be decided. No meet and greet meetings or consultation meetings between parents and teachers so you never know how how child is performing. No balanced diet, bread and soup and voetkoeks are pretty much fed to the kids almost always. No Children's report cards. The kids are not adequately prepared for "big school". A lot of events are paid for but never actually happen and no refunds are ever issued.
Horrible, unsafe, unsupervised kids, aftercare for teenagers then they bully the small kids. Teachers are not qualified!! Just to name a few. And ran a school for 2 weeks with no electricity in winter and never informed the parents. Please stay away!!!
Definitely not a good school for any children. Absolutely no basic needs for the kids. No electricity, gas bottles on the floor. Maybe a small dry vetkoek for lunch or half a slice jam bread. Fire extinguisher expired, health and safety certificates expired 2years back. Principal never at school. Cupboards hanging on 1 hinge. Unqualified teachers. Not all the kids have workbooks. The kids that do have workbooks, have been working in their books only the 1st and 2nd semesters, but Gr R have "graduated". Principal wearing her gym outfits when she is at school, just because her fitness classes are on the same premises. Kids are not allowed to play in the sandpits, due to cat fecal matter. Cameras not working due to no electricity. This is just a few of the concerns. The kids interests are definitely not a priority at this school.
