This staff at Holy Rosary are predominantly white and they are not very friendly and forthcoming when a non white parent complains. The HOD and teachers protect their own reputation rather than putting the learners first. My child is suspected to have ADHD and struggles with sitting still however the teachers see this as disrespectful and instead of finding a better teaching strategy, parents like myself are told that they do things their way and parents have no say. The HOD also refuses to have any paper trail of any communication and is only willing to discuss issues in person. They refuse to say anything on Whatsap or email as to protect the schools reputation. I wish I knew about this site before enrolling my child.
I’ve been in this school for about 13 years now and though there are aspects of it that I don’t enjoy, I will say that I have the best teachers! They really care about their students and show genuine interest in our lives, nevermind the fact that they’re exceptionally good at teaching. I could not have achieved all that I have without their love and support, and I will remember them forever. When it comes to other students, it depends on the grade but I personally have never had any huge issues that I wouldn’t experience at other schools. In the end, the school experience is very individual but I have found that if you show respect to others, they will show respect back.
Not the best school - Lots of bullying and racism after the few years I had in that school. Favoritism is very high in the high school side too.
Girls can be very catty too.
School expects exceptional high marks from everyone. School gets into your personal life and sends you to the school therapist.
