The school is pretty good, academically speaking that is. In terms of sports and extracurricular activities it's quite average, the main issue is that if it's not rugby related it gets shoved to the side.
The hockey and netball teams had to fight to get recognition. All the other smaller sports, school team or not, basically get ignored.
Don't even get me started on the culture side of things. If it's not Afrikaans or Debate it's ignored. I went there for 4 years and apparently they had a drama department, that plans the plays.
A great school overall but there are some issues under students that aren't adressed but nothing major. It's a great school if you wanna focus on sports and academics. Would not recommend it if you want to go into more creative career fields since art, drama and music isn't taught at this school. They do have drama and art as a subjects in Grade 8 & 9 but they fall away in grade 10.
actually a really good school we hold traditions high and our pride towards our school is unbeatable, the spirit when we run on the field for any sport takes over you body and you can only think of wow how lucky are we to be able to have this as our school. we are competitive, discipline and respect is crutial and our academics is top of the line, we really work hard and know the difference between fun and learning time. one of the best with our flag red, green and blue, reach for the stars, per aspera ad astra!
