Hoërskool Noordheuwel

Knap Afrikaanse skool! Ek is tans in Graad 12. n Skool met standvastige waardes. In my ervaring, was daar min tot geen bullebakke. Die snoepwinkel se kos is uitstekend, maar wel bietjie duur. (Die noriebroodjie is n wenner!) Daar is verskeie buitemuurse aktiwiteite,soos visvang en fotografie. Die onderrig is van n buitengewone hoë gehalte en daar word beduidende klem geplaas op hulpbronne om akademiese vordering aan te moedig, soos ou vraestelle, werkkaarte en PowerPoints. Kultureel gesproke, is Noordheuwel n baanbreker in alle gebiede. Dit is belangrik om te onthou dat dit ook nie nét maanskyn en rose is nie. In my mening, sou ek sê diegene van beter finansiële omstandighede word begunstig aangesien hul meer kan bydra tot die skool en sy naam, iets wat van groot belang vir die skool is. Hul is ook in staat om aan meer buitemuurse aktiwiteite deel te neem, wat weer veroorsaak dat hul meer geneigd is om vir VLR / Norieraad te staan en deel te wees daarvan. Diegene van swakker finansiële omstandighede kry dus minder blootstelling, weens n probleem buite hul beheer, wat hul benadeel in die toekoms. Populariteit speel n baie groot rol in die leerlingrade as n geheel, en diversiteit in terme van die ras, die geloof en die finansies van leerlinge word, ongelukkig, duidelik afgeskeep op dié rade. Noordheuwel bly wel die beste keuse in vergelyking met ander skole. Uit ervaring, sou ek nie HS Monument aanbeveel nie. Uiterse swak akademiese kultuur, met baie afknouery maar puik sport. Rugby is ongelukkig n afgod by Hoërskool Monument.

Teachers are very rude. You pay lots of money and then in return you get rude people at the school

Very nice school,teachers have spirit and that rubs off to the students.

This school is excellent! They are strict on discipline. They help you to achieve your best. Noordheuwel feels like my second home. The teachers are really passionate about their jobs. They are very helpful towards the students.

Bullying is almost non-existent.

This school is organized and neat. They also have alot of "gees"

It is an excellent school. If you want your child to succeed, send him/her to this school. I loved every moment there.They offer many opportunities for everyone.

I was in the school but decided to leave. The most money driven school ever. I remember auditioning for a play with 2 other girls, when they decided who the role player would be, it was a girl that wasn't even at the audition. The teachers know which students have money and it affects their attitude towards you. You can have real, true talent but the person with a high status and money will get the role. A lot of my friends were unhappy as well. It's not the perfect school. There is drug abuse, pregnancy scandals and bullying. They just hide it from the public. Complaining about bullying is responded to by saying that "it's high school" and "people will say bad things to you all your life". Parents, your child's happiness comes first and they won't be happy here. Believe me, it was my "dream" school too.

The students and teachers are kind and helpful, have good manners and were always welcoming. I never felt unsafe or unimportant. I have my best memories there. A school I’d recommend to anyone.
