I personally feel that the school cares more about their reputation than the well being of their students. There were of course teachers there that went above and beyond to make me feel prepared and cared for, but sadly that was the exception. I also feel that the voices of students were hushed by management as though they do not believe we knew what we were talking about. The education was average - in my year there was a subject were only one person in the whole grade didn't seek outside tutoring. Additionaly, I feel that the students who were good at either sport, cultural or academics were looked after better than those who struggled. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.
The mental health system is broken , the students voices are hushed when they try to bring up serious issues , the school cares more about its reputation that the well being of the students
De La Salle Holy Cross College is more than a school - it is a community. It is a school that has excellent academics but more than that it is an environment that invests fully in your child and your family.
