Df malan is exhausting. I am a student df malan, and emotionally they destroyed me. There is no policy against bullying. You are humiliated by the learners, and then further by the teachers. What makes me sad is that Mr. Conradie has no understanding for the children who are bullied, you have to listen to the fact that you are the problem, and that you have to remove yourself from such situations? HOW DO I DO THAT SIR?? Df malan is not only racist, but promotes bully behaviour, from the learners and teachers. Dirty looks from some teachers are considered normal after a while, and teachers who look away when you walk in the corridors, yes, you just get used to it. The school is more focused on composting than the learners. I'm sorry DF, but get your priorities right, and pay attention to the children who are clearly struggling!

Religious Bias
DF Malan is a mediocre school in my opinion. My experience wasn't the worst, but I know of many pupils that would disagree. I've heard multiple pupils saying slurs (racial and homophobic), to which nothing was done, merely swept under the rug. Some teachers however are very nice and try to go the extra mile, which is a plus point at least. Lastly, I feel this is not an inclusive school- regarding religion. I understand that DF Malan teaches and advocates for Christianity, but many teachers degrade other religions or speak negatively of it, which isn't acceptable. 5.5/10
I'll never regret coming here
DF Malan is an exquisite school that has a real feeling of community especially when we are practicing for things like MTBS, we are one. The teachers are wondeful, and I can honestly say I've never experienced a negative thin whilst attending the school.

Df is a school with apartheid background as heard by the name. Df has a lack of coloured presence which leads to all the learners of colour feeling either unsafe or unmotivated to do their schoolwork and there is way too many smokers on that school ,honestly i hope this school changes its name,uniform and all traditions.
