Amanzimtoti High School

Amanimtoti High School is not a fair school... They are favour people due to what they contribute to the school or the positions that their parents have on the SGB

The school does produce good academic results but I think some of the non serious rules could be changed and loosened as it would not harm anyone but generally I like going to amanzimtoti high school and would recommend it to people.
Some teachers can be mean and will humiliate you in front of everyone.

staff are bullies and principal sticks up for them.
I had a back operation where my SURGEON told the school that I cannot participate in P.E but I was forced to by the P.E teacher and he would constantly tell me nothing is wrong with me. I went to the principal with my father to inform her of this and she took his side and had me in tears. This bullying from the P.E department lasted 3 years. In matric I was sitting with 0% for P.E when I ACTUALLY participated in P.E despite being told it can further harm me but coaches all picked on me and said I never attended lessons and other teaches did not help at all despite having proof that I did do P.E (they had cameras installed but refused to play the tape).

Most of the staff there are not even qualified for the subjects that they are teaching.

Amanzimtoti High is a really bad school. Full of bullies and mean girls and the teachers don't really do anything to stop it. Most of the teachers bully the students too, I was one of them, they got involved in my life out of school which isn't right and embarrassed me about it. Asking me questions Infront of my whole class which was personal. The teaching is also really bad, my gr9 year we all got 50% average which includes the A class which isn't good at all. Also the counciler isn't good. She just sits there and let's you talk, doesn't give you advice or ask you any questions, I would get a better response talking to a brick wall. Amanzimtoti High isn't a good school. Rather do home schooling if you want your children to have a good mentality. Also, this school teachers you that you're only someone who deserves respect and you're only treated nicely if you're a good student, for example head boy material or first team which is ridiculous. You shouldn't have to be good at sport or academics just to be recognized and this isn't what this school teachers you.

My school is actually a really good school that performs greatly in all areas (academically and sport-wise)
Most of the teachers are friendly and caring (as far as I can see) as they aided me and helped me when I needed it.
The school counsellor has helped me A LOT and I am really grateful for that.
Moat of the teachers are greatly experienced and highly qualified in their teaching areas and one could see this in their lessons and learners' results.
Overall, Amanzimtoti High School is a prestigious, well-presentable and great school.
