I don't even know where to start.
The leadership of the school is centered around one person (the head). in the five years I've been at the school, she has fired teachers or they have resigned. It's unacceptable for students to exit that school with most of them not going to university to receive tertiary education which subsequently follows The exploitation of the former students who are miraculously teachers of the school the following year.
Whatever idea it is, If it's not the head of schoolʼs idea, it will never be appreciated. I had already gotten used to that.
This is a school who will confront the child instead of the parent when it comes to overdue fees. There is no moderator, no school governing body (please don't tell me about ISASA), just 1 head of school who feels like she can teach any subject she wants and doesn't care if students understand or not. 1 head of school who doesn't treat her employees well. 1 head of school who has carried hatred for a class of students to the point where she made them fail so that she can paint a picture of how dumb we are. While you are there, please ask her if the exam papers are really marked at the United Kingdom (Cambridge). Did I mention the unnecessary charged external classes like Access Ed for R800? All for a certificate?
Please do better for the dignity of your school.
It is a very good school, teachers knows their students and help out were they struggle. As one of the learner's parent I'm happy with the school. if you enroll your child you won't regret it
I was a schoolar at African school for Excellence (ASE)for 6years and not only did I get the best education at a lower price, I found a second home, the love and support from the founders of the school to the teachers is so immeasurable. ASE is a perfect school for teaching one independency, integrity, responsibility and mostly coming out of your comfort zone and not being afraid to try out new things.
