The teachers are amazing and truly care for the school. They take time to explain each topic to the kids. They don't just care about school work, but rather students' well-being too. I absolutely loved my 8 years here. Mr Wallenstein always keeps the kids thoroughly entertained with all his jokes and banter. Mrs. Simons came through with just the right amount of sarcasm, strictness, and kindness to keep kids in line. She was never afraid to put kids in their place. Mr Strydom was always someone anyone could go to for some advice. He served as a spiritual guide for me and many kids. Mr Basson, even though he is not there anymore, always thoroughly explained every maths topic and fuelled my already burning passion for maths. I am thankful for all the trust that he had in me allowing me to count marks and check that all the papers were right. And last, but most definitely not least, Mrs Hayes! The actual best EMS teacher I've ever had. She cared so deeply for all of her students, both past and present. Though she yelled at us sometimes, you never felt unloved in her class. If you ever needed anything, you could just ask and she'd give it to you. Ultimately, I loved my last years at Accordion Street Primary so much. The teachers there really are phenomenal and I love them all so much!
